A dear friend who restores pedal cars sent me a picture of his grandsons, the fourth generation of a military family. Decked out in army clothes, they proudly posed with their toy Tommy gun and pistol for Grandpa. When I saw the picture, I wanted to capture the moment in bronze to honor those who have served in the military and others who dream of serving in the military one day.
