Pamela has been on a mission since 2016 to create larger than life-size sculptures for the public in eastern Montana cities. Her monuments include tributes to the military at the Northeastern Montana Veterans Memorial Park in Ft. Peck and the Eastern Montana Veterans Home in Glendive. Other works honor the sacrifices of the pioneers, and many are whimsical depictions of children and their pets, meant to inspire, amaze, and charm residents and visitors. Four of these are located on the Towne Street bridge crossing the Yellowstone River in Glendive, the only bridge in the state that exhibits bronze sculptures.
Additional monumental sculptures are located along Glendive’s main street, Merrill Avenue, and more are planned. Pamela is dedicated to creating a legacy through her work and that of her late husband Harvey Rattey.
