Branding Crew

At times when there were not enough cowboys on hand to wrestle calves and hold them, Harvey would improvise. He would tie a rubber inner tube to a post, then tie the calf to the tube. The cowboy who was roping could then hold the calf fairly still without risking injury to the critter or to the cowboy running the branding iron.
