When we were little, my brother, sister and I spent many hours playing in the creek near our house catching minnows and pollywogs. Harvey told me the most hilarious story about doing the same thing when he was a kid; his story is better. He caught some minnows and kept them in a an old Mason jar next to his bed. One night he reached for his glasses and knocked the jar over. The struggling minnows were flipping around on the floor and Harvey, desperate to find them water to save their lives, put them in his mouth. You guessed it! He accidentally swallowed them all. Makes me laugh every time I recall the look of revulsion on his face whenever he told the story, one of my favorite tales.
