This small version of a lion was created by Harvey many years ago. The Lions Club, in a joint fundraising campaign with other service organizations, wanted to create a way to say thank you to our community volunteers. Thus the idea came about to have a larger-than-life-size casting of Harvey’s lion placed at the Eastern Plains Events Center on Merrill Avenue across from City Hall in Glendive, Montana. Castings of the life-size Lion are available for other community tributes.
