The US Pentagon first ordered Harvey’s eagle sculptures in 1985. Throughout the years they’ve purchased many different versions to give as gifts to foreign dignitaries. The eagles are displayed in the offices of military personnel in at least 32 countries. Congressman Ron Marlenee took ten to give as gifts when he visited Taiwan. Harvey also crafted an eagle as a Christmas tree ornament which is now part of the White House Christmas Ornament Collection.
